Majorie van Duursen is Professor of Environmental Health and Toxicology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research focuses on the harmful effects of environmental contaminants on the hormone system, particularly that of women and children. She participates in various national and international organisations that aim to protect human health and promote a healthy living environment.
